The second quarter of 2026 marked a significant period of growth for M3 Medical, characterised by strategic geographic expansion, strengthened manufacturing partnerships, and notable clinical adoption milestones across the UK and Ireland.
UK Market Entry and Portfolio Expansion
The quarter's headline achievement was the successful UK launch of our endovenous portfolio, expanding M3 Medical's presence beyond Ireland into the UK market. Central to this expansion was the deepening of the long-standing partnership with LSO Medical, the French specialist manufacturer, to introduce the LumeSeal® EVLA SnakeBack® system across the UK.
This launch represents a major step in our international development as part ofUniphar Medtech. The LumeSeal® system, which integrates flexible SnakeBack® radial fibre technology with enhanced energy control, is now available to UK vascular specialists seeking standardised approaches to varicose vein management. The expansion also includes collaboration with VB Devices, broadening endovenous solutions available to the NHS and private sector providers. The UK launch garnered industry attention, with coverage in Venous News highlighting the strategic importance of this market entry.
Clinical Adoption and First Cases
Q2 saw impressive early adoption of new technologies.. In the UK, Dr. Irfan Ahmed and the interventional radiology team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust completed the first UK case using the Serranator® balloon from Cagent Vascular. The team successfully treated a complex 20cm lesion in the distal popliteal and posterior tibial artery, demonstrating the device's capabilities in challenging below-the-knee interventions. The Serranator's embedded stainless steel micro-serrations delivered superior acute lumen gain with minimal recoil.
Meanwhile in Ireland, the vascular team at University Hospital Waterford (UHW), completed successful installations and first cases using the LUMESEAL® laser with SnakeBack® technology, with consultant-preferred settings and accurate energy delivery receiving particular praise from clinical users.
Industry Engagement and Thought Leadership
We had a strong presence at key professional gatherings. We were proud to sponsor the Irish Vascular Society Conference at The Johnstown Estate Hotel and Spa, engaging with vascular leaders including Society President Greg Fulton and the IVS faculty. The event featured distinctive M3-branded macarons and shortbread aortas provided by SweetCroí, adding a memorable touch to the networking opportunities.
In partnership with Prytime Medical Devices, Inc., we participated in the THOR Network Foundation Symposium at Powerscourt, Wicklow, marking the first time this international trauma, haemostasis, and resuscitation conference was hosted in Ireland. The symposium brought together civilian and military medicine experts to share evidence-based practices in critical care.
Additionally, the team attended EuroPCR, Europe's premier interventional cardiology meeting, actively seeking new distribution partnerships across Ireland, the UK, and continental Europe.
Clinical Support Infrastructure
Supporting these clinical milestones, highlights the expertise of our expanded clinical support teams. In the UK, Stefania Barzan and Amandeep Kaur provided expert case support, while Hannah Coakley continued to drive clinical excellence in Ireland. Lucy Farrell was specifically recognised for her hands-on clinical support during the UHW installations.
Looking Ahead
With the UK endovenous portfolio now established and first commercial cases completed using both LSO Medical and Cagent Vascular technologies, we enter the second half of 2026 with strengthened market position acrossthe UK & Ireland. . The combination of proprietary technology partnerships and structured clinical engagement enables us to meet evolving vascular treatment needs across the NHS and Irish healthcare systems.
